Assistant Store Manager

The ideal Assistant Store Manager is the connection between upper management and sales teams assisting, motivating, inspiring, and leading our team members to achieve store productivity. Assistant Store Managers also help analyze week to date, period to date, year to date sales and to develop action plans to drive top line sales. Other responsibilities include Managing payroll budgets to ensure store contribution is on target, ensuring the individual and collective skills of the team are utilized effectively and both the staff and guest’s experience is positive. Assisting the store manager in the hiring selection and process to ensure store is appropriately staffed at all times. Effectively manages store operations ensuring consistency and compliance.

Our assistant store manager will have excellent communication skills, disposition and vision. Extremely likable, genuinely interested, open minded, thorough, detail oriented firm in convictions, ethically responsible, integral, honest and willing to learn and guide with patience and creativity. 1 to 3 years Retail experience is necessary. A strong emphasis in personnel management, leadership, retail operations, product knowledge, visual presentation, impeccable style, cleanliness and personal hygiene are also required.

Responsibilities

  • Assists store manager in complete responsibility for the store.

  • Consistently creates a welcoming environment

  • Demonstrates desired behaviors for staff including driving sales handling difficult/complicated sales. Cash management, inventory and guest follow up.

  • Assists store manager with providing a strong leadership presence and control in store while ensuring all guests receive the best customer service by the highest standards and the best quality merchandise.

  • Utilizes company tools to diagnose opportunities and develops action plans to improve performance.

  • Forecasts/re-forecasts business focused on productivity to constantly improve and surpass sales goals.

  • Identifies opportunities to drive traffic into the store through community events and other networking venues.

  • Continuous communication with management to discuss strengths, opportunities and trends in business.

  • Assists store manager in partnering with corporate office personnel to increase sales, drive promote merchandise categories and expand markets.

  • Helps store manager in identifying training needs and providing ongoing training opportunities to the team as needed.

  • Leverages individual staff strengths, and creates developmental plans to prepare all level positions for future growth with the organization.

  • Assists in hiring to the needs of the business actively recruiting to ensure open positions are filled quickly.

  • Assists store manager in delivering consistent, in the moment feedback and coaching.

  • Ensures company standards are met for store and associate appearance at all times.

  • Prioritizes plans and adjusts schedules as necessary to maximize sales.

  • Plans, coordinates and executes all merchandise calendar direction, campaigns and sales promotions in a timely manner.

  • Ensures all pricing, signage, and displays are correct at all times.

  • Receives regular vendor deliveries and stock sales floor in a timely manner.

  • Responsible for controlling inventory stock levels and reordering as necessary and within budget.

  • Enforces all company policies and procedures including health, safety and security.

  • Manages and controls shrink.

  • Performs all duties as directed by supervisor.

  • Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.

 Brand/Marketing/Advertising Manager

Our Marketing Manager is directly responsible for researching, developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing and advertising  plans for the company in order to attract potential customers and retaining existing ones.

Day-to-day tasks include creating, managing and coordinating marketing and creative projects, leading market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing products and services and liaising with media organizations, digital platforms and advertising agencies.

Our Marketing Manager must be a great business leader as well as great marketing leader. That is because he/She is responsible for working with executives to determine budgets and targets and he/She will be often charged with developing pricing strategies for products and services. While the marketing department counts on the Marketing manager for guidance and direction, executives count on the Marketing Manager for profitability and results. Operating at the center of the company, our Marketing Manager must have extraordinary communication skills and updated knowledge in the latest information and methods in the field.

  • Research and evaluate new product opportunities, demand for potential products and customer needs/insights.

  • Overall marketing strategy and execution of plans for the existing products.

  • Serve as a partner to finance and product development in determining the viability of potential markets before production of a project with no business case or strategy prepared in advance.

  • Work in product development teams to manage new product development.

  • Manage launch campaigns for new products.

  • Manage distribution channels for products

  • Ensuring effective, branded marketing communications including company website, digital/social media platforms, email newsletters, print communication, product promotions and other advertising.

  • Managing media and marketing projects and external PR agencies.
